Gwreiddio

A collection of eight short stories tackling different aspects of living in rural Wales. Each story is set in a rural, agricultural community, as the characters face all sorts of challenges - loneliness, loss of land and inheritance, the tension between the old way of life and the need to move forward and diversify. The authors are Bethan Gwanas, Elen Davies, Geraint Lewis, Haf Llewelyn, Heiddwen Tomos, John Roberts, Llŷr Titus and Megan Elenid Lewis. From a young girl returning home to help during lambing season, to a humble and hardworking wife who has just lost her husband, we get memorable portraits of characters who are at the core of our agricultural communities.
